Amy Fuller is a mindful eating program facilitator, certified yoga instructor, and health consultant, with over 20 years of experience in the health field. She has taught mindful eating courses in a variety of venues, including Inova Hospital as part of Inova’s medical weight loss program. Before focusing solely on intuitive eating, her own struggle with weight loss led her to develop a yoga-for-weight-loss class that focused on teaching self-compassion, self-calming, and motivational strategies. The success and popularity of this program led her to earn her certification as a mindful eating facilitator. She developed her own program to incorporate meditation and body awareness with other mindful eating techniques to achieve permanent weight loss.
Amy has also worked as a fitness instructor, dietary technician, and wellness coordinator. She has a degree from Virginia Tech where she studied Health Education.
